New Student Seminar and BBQ

Dear new coming Chinese students,

Welcome to the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor! If you haven't quite settled down or still highly curious what's going to happen this school year, please feel free to join our new students welcome seminar at 1504 GG Brown, Sep.05.2009 from 1pm to 3pm. You'll learn all the tips of how to arrange your new life here! After that, our volunteers will drive you to our free welcome BBQ at Gallup Park to have some fun together and get to know both new and old students!

Note 1: Make an early move to save your money, bring $5 cash with you for our local restaurants and grocery stores discount card!

Note 2: If you want to open a Chase account, Ann Arbor Chase branch representatives will help you at our BBQ. For those opening an account during the BBQ will get $75 coupon from the Chase bank which will be deposit in your new account. Make sure you have these documents with you on that day:

The documents needed to set up a Chase checking/savings account for international prospects are: (*You don’t have to have a Social Security Number to set up a checking/savings account or apply for a credit card)
1) Chinese passport (a must-have)
2) And Lease agreement
3) Or U.S. driver’s License
4) Or other proof of address such as a student offer letter
5) Or Foreign National ID
6) Or any recent bill statements including DTE, Comcast or any cell phone carriers.
7) Or Other banks’ statements

For U.S. citizens or green card holders:
1). U.S. driver’s license or passport
2) Any debit/credit card or Student ID or recent bill statements
