Dear All

On behalf of Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) 08-09 committee, I coordinately invite you to the 2009 Chinese New Year Gala being held at 7:30-9:30pm on Friday, January 16th, in POWER CENTER.

The Chinese New Year Gala is the most important tradition in the Chinese society everywhere in the world. To celebrate the Chinese New Year (Spring Festival), we put on the stage the best performances of singing, dancing, cross-talk etc. Here on campus, the Chinese Students and Scholars Association has been holding this highly anticipated event every year for the Chinese society, with more than 1000
attendees from the Detroit area.

We are dedicating to make 2009 Chinese New Year Gala a showcase of Chinese culture. Beside what we offer each year, you will find bilingual MCs (English and Chinese), Peking Opera, and Traditional Chinese Musical Instruments performances. If you have never been to the Chinese New Year Gala, this would be the right one to start. If you have joined us before, then you definitely should not miss this
one.

Please come and join us in this remarkable event. We hope to welcome you in the Power Center!

Yours sincerely,
CSSA 08-09 committee
