YHO Student-Faculty dinner invitation

Hello,

My name is Shirley Wang and I am a part of the Youth Hope Organization, which was established as a University of Michigan volunteer service organization in April 2007.

Our focus is to raise awareness about the situation of disadvantaged children in China,
gather educational resources, and finance for our annual Summer trip abroad.

On Wednesday, November 12th 2008, we will be hosting our 2nd annual student-faculty dinner on in the Michigan League Ballroom. We hope to have around 100 students and 50+ faculty members in attendance. The event is already fully sponsored.

Time: 6-8PM
Location: Michigan League Ballroom
Dress: Business casual
Free event

The purpose of the event is to share our summer trip experience with the campus community and to raise awareness about how HIV/AIDS are affecting these children. We also hope that everyone will be inspired to make a change in their lives, whether big or small in the upcoming year. Equally important, this event will provide students and faculty members a chance to meet outside the classroom environment, and to foster relationships through a common concern, passion, and commitment to service.
